Dear Parents & Carers,
Now that the weather has finally turned warmer it seems an appropriate time to remind you of the Summer Uniform.
Grey trousers or shorts – grey socks
Grey skirt or pinafore
Green & white checked/striped dress – white socks
Green or white polo shirt (with or without logo)
Green sweatshirt or cardigan (with or without logo)
Black shoes or suitable sandals – please note strappy sandals, white trainers, Converse and Huaraches are not considered suitable for school. Trainers can of course be worn for sporting events.
Please ensure that all clothing is clearly labelled as we are accumulating large amounts of lost uniform in the school office.
We would also remind you to provide your child with a sun hat and a bottle of water each day. Sunglasses are permitted, particularly if your child suffers from hay fever, however we cannot be held responsible for loss or damage.
If your child has particularly sensitive skin we would recommend that you put sun cream on them before they come in to school. You can get some very good creams that last up to eight hours. Alternatively you may send your child to school with a small bottle of sun cream that they can apply themselves before going outside. Staff are not able to apply sun creams.
Following our conversion to Academy status please note that any cheques that need to be paid to the school, for example for school dinners, should be made payable to Epping Forest Schools Partnership Trust.
As part of our school self-evaluation process, we are sending out a questionnaire to all parents/carers with a child at Epping Upland C.of E. Primary School.
If you have more than one child in school, please fill out a separate questionnaire for each of them, as your views may differ from child to child. Your answers and comments are confidential.
Dear Parents & Carers,
As you are aware Breakfast Club has been running since January. Unfortunately, despite initially committing to a place at the agreed price, a number of parents have now decided not to continue. This means that the club is no longer financially viable.
A number of parents have said they would be willing to use Breakfast Club if the price was lower. In order to bring the price down, without compromising on standards, we would need a commitment of at least 15 children per day at the cost of £5.
If you are interested in taking a place at this reduced cost please complete and return the slip below. If enough parents commit we will be able to continue to run the club.
If you are unsure that Breakfast Club would be suitable for your child, we will be running a Taster Session next Tuesday 28th February at a cost of £5. This price will include a choice of breakfast, including pancakes as it is Shrove Tuesday. Please complete the slip below with the £5 payment in a sealed envelope.
The continuation of Breakfast Club will depend upon the responses and uptake from this letter.
